Have you booked a stay at our campsite and have some questions about it? Would you like to make a reservation but are unsure because of unanswered questions? Then this FAQ is for you. We have tried to answer as many questions as possible.

Is the mobile home equipped for cooking?

What is the minimum number of nights for accommodation?

For rentals, the minimum stay is two nights.

My mobile home is available before 3:00 PM. Is it possible to arrive earlier?

The sheets and towels are not provided, but you can rent sheets and towels during your stay.

Are the sheets and towels provided?

Sheets and towels are not provided, but you have the option to rent sheets and bath towels during your stay.

Is the mobile home equipped for cooking?

Yes, the mobile home is fully equipped with everything you need to cook. You will find pots, pans, cutlery, plates, and glasses, as well as small appliances such as a Senseo coffee maker and a microwave, so you can easily prepare your meals.

Is the mobile home equipped with a television?

Yes, the mobile home is equipped with a television, allowing you to relax and watch your favorite shows after a day of activities. Whether you wish to follow the news, watch movies, or spend an evening with family, you will have all the necessary comfort for a pleasant stay.

What type of coffee maker is available?

The mobile home is equipped with a Senso coffee maker. The capsules are available for purchase at the grocery store if needed.

Is the mobile home equipped with air conditioning and heating?

Yes, the mobile home is equipped with reversible air conditioning, which allows you to enjoy optimal comfort, whether in summer to cool the interior or in spring or autumn to heat it.

 

Is it possible to rent a crib or a high chair for a baby?

Yes, it is possible to rent a travel crib and a high chair for the baby, provided to you free of charge. Don’t hesitate to contact us to check their availability when making your reservation.

 

Can I park a second vehicle near my mobile home?

You can park only one vehicle near your mobile home. If you need to park a second vehicle, it is possible to do so in the parking lot located at the entrance of the campsite, for an additional fee.

 

Are we allowed to smoke in the accommodations?

It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the accommodations to ensure the comfort and cleanliness of the space. However, an ashtray is available on the terrace so you can enjoy your cigarette outside safely. Thank you for respecting this rule in order to maintain a pleasant environment for all our guests.

 

Do you have accessible accommodations?

Currently, we do not yet have accommodations accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM). We are working on improving our facilities to better accommodate all our visitors in the future.

 

Do I have to clean when leaving my accommodation?

You have the option to subscribe to our cleaning service when booking, but this does not include the kitchen area. You will need to wash and put away the dishes, empty the trash, and leave the refrigerator clean and empty. If you choose to clean the place yourself, the accommodation must be returned in perfect condition. Otherwise, a cleaning fee of €70 will be charged.

 

What is the size of the beds?

The single beds in our mobile homes measure 80 x 190 cm. For double beds, those in the two-bedroom mobile homes measure 140 x 190 cm (except for mobile home No. 28, which has a bed measuring 160 x 200 cm), and those in the three-bedroom mobile homes measure 160 x 200 cm.

 

Am I allowed to invite family or friends to the mobile home? If so, is there a fee?

 

You can invite friends or family to your mobile home. If they wish to use the campsite facilities (such as the pool and games), they must check in at the reception and pay an additional fee. On the other hand, if they come just to have dinner with you, their visit is free.

 

Can I put a tent next to the mobile home?

It is not allowed to set up a tent next to a mobile home. If you wish to camp with a tent, we recommend booking a dedicated pitch.

 

Should a deposit be given at the time of installation?

A deposit of €200 is required upon your arrival at the campsite for any accommodation rental.

 

When will I get my deposit back?

The deposit will be returned to you on the day of your departure.

What are the different types of accommodations?

We offer several types of accommodations: one-bedroom mobile homes for 2 people, two-bedroom mobile homes for 4 to 6 people, and three-bedroom mobile homes for 6 people. For safety reasons, it is not possible to exceed these capacities. If you are more numerous, it will be necessary to book a second accommodation.

What is included with my accommodation?

Your accommodation reservation includes all charges (water, gas, electricity), a vehicle, as well as access to the pool (during opening hours), playgrounds, and camping facilities. You can also choose additional options when making your reservation.

What amenities does my accommodation have?

Each type of accommodation has a detailed inventory that you can view by clicking on “Check availability” at the top right, then selecting an accommodation and clicking on “See all”.

What are the opening hours of the pool?

The pool is open every day from 10 AM to 8 PM, from April 26 to September 30.

 

 

Is the pool heated?

The pool is heated by solar panels, ensuring pleasant temperatures throughout the opening season.

What are the dimensions of the pool?

The pool, perfect for swimming, measures 16 meters long and 7 meters wide, providing ample space for all swimmers. Moreover, a wading pool area has been specially designed for the little ones, ensuring moments of fun in complete safety. Whether you want to relax, swim laps, or play with your children, this pool will meet all your expectations.

Is the pool supervised?

The pool is not supervised, and the safety of the children is the responsibility of their parents. We encourage you to stay vigilant and ensure that your children adhere to safety rules, in order to guarantee pleasant and peaceful moments by the water.

Are there any activities at the pool?

Night events are gold! organized every Friday evening in July and August. Come enjoy these festive and refreshing evenings under the stars.

What type of electrical outlet is there at the locations?

Each pitch at Camping Saint Gabriel in Tarascon is equipped with two electrical outlets, a French socket and a European socket. This allows you to easily plug in your devices, whether you come from France or elsewhere in Europe. Don’t forget to bring adapters if your devices are not compatible with these outlets.

Is it possible to rent a refrigerator?

Yes, it is entirely possible to rent a refrigerator with a freezer during your stay at Camping Saint-Gabriel. You can book it directly when making your reservation on our website, by phone, or on-site, depending on availability. This will allow you to keep your food and drinks cool throughout your vacation.

Can we have water and electricity at each location?

Yes, each site at Camping Saint-Gabriel has water and electricity, included in the site price. You will thus be able to enjoy all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Whether it’s to cool off or to charge your devices, everything is arranged for your comfort.

Is water and electricity included in the price of the spot?

Yes, water and electricity are included in the price of the spot. You will therefore not have any additional charges for these amenities, allowing you to fully enjoy your stay without worry.

Are there specific spots for RVs?

All our ACX at Camping Saint-Gabriel measure between 80 and 100 m², which allows for the accommodation of motorhomes, caravans, and tents. You will have enough space to park your vehicle and enjoy your stay with complete freedom.

What is the maximum accepted size for caravans and motorhomes?

The maximum accepted size for caravans and motorhomes at Camping Saint-Gabriel is 11 meters in length, overall. This allows you to park your vehicle safely while enjoying your stay.


What is the minimum length of stay?

At Camping Saint Gabriel, you can stay on a pitch for a minimum of one night during the opening period. This allows you to enjoy a short stay or an extended getaway according to your desires.

Which low and mid-season cards do you accept?

We accept ACSI cards for bookings in the low and mid-season. You can book a pitch directly on our website at a reduced rate using this card.

How many people can camp on a site?

The maximum capacity of a pitch for tents, motorhomes, and caravans is 6 people, including children and babies. If you exceed this capacity, you will need to book a second pitch. The basic package includes 2 people, and additional fees apply for each extra person. Please note that the maximum capacity is generally 6 people, except for specific locations with different capacities.

Where is the nearest train station?

The nearest train station is the Tarascon Station. It is about 3 kilometers from the campsite, offering easy access to train lines connecting Tarascon to cities such as Avignon, Arles, and Nîmes. This makes it easy to explore the region without a car.

What is the distance between the campsite and the bike paths?

The nearest bike path is about 2 kilometers away. This bike path will take you to attractive destinations such as Arles, Nîmes, and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, allowing you to explore the region’s beautiful landscapes while discovering its cultural treasures. You can also take a ride to the sea at Palavas-les-Flots and Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône. Enjoy a bike ride to soak in the beauty of the Alpilles and the traditions of Provence.

What is there to see in the area?

In the Tarascon region, you can discover iconic sites such as the Arles amphitheater and the Palais des Papes in Avignon. Nîmes, with its Roman monuments such as the Maison Carrée, and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, famous for its ancient ruins, are also worth a visit. Less than 500 meters from the campsite, you can explore several hiking trails that offer you varied experiences:

Can I arrive outside of reception hours?

The reception is open from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. If you cannot arrive during these hours, please inform us in advance so that we can arrange your welcome.

Is my dog/cat allowed in the rental property?

Your dog or cat is allowed in the rental for an additional daily fee. However, animals considered dangerous or aggressive, as well as dogs of category 1 and 2, are not allowed. Please ensure that your pet is vaccinated, kept on a leash, and that droppings are picked up.

How can I check the availability and calculate the price of my stay?

To check availability and calculate the price of your stay, simply simulate a reservation on our website. Click on the “Check availability” button at the top right after selecting your dates. You will then be able to view the available accommodations, their prices, and the locations with or without the ACSI card. The indicated price includes the booking fees, but does not include additional options or the optional cancellation guarantee.

Is there a laundromat at the campsite?

Yes, the campsite has a washing machine available for you.

Are barbecues allowed at the campsite?

Yes, a communal charcoal barbecue is available at the campsite. You can also use individual electric or gas barbecues. However, individual charcoal barbecues are not allowed.

Is there wifi at the campsite?

Yes, the campsite offers free Wi-Fi access throughout the site.

Until what time can I enter the campsite by car?

Car access to the campsite is allowed until 11 PM. After this hour, the gate is closed to ensure everyone’s peace and safety.

Are visitors welcome?

Visitors are welcome at the campsite, provided they know a resident. They must register at the reception and pay an entrance fee of €5.50, which will give them access to the camping facilities, such as the pool, the bar, and the restaurant, as well as the children’s games, foosball, ping-pong, and billiards.

What are the arrival and departure times?

For the pitches, arrivals are possible from 2 PM and departures must be made by 12 PM at the latest. For accommodations, arrivals are from 3 PM and departures must be made by 10 AM at the latest.

Can I choose my location or my mobile home?

Yes, you can choose your own pitch or mobile home, as long as you request it in advance and it is available.

What is included in my rate?

When you book a pitch or accommodation, your price includes access to all the free facilities and services of the campsite, such as the pool with paddling pool, Wi-Fi, children’s playground, inflatable castle, ping-pong, petanque area, and communal barbecue. However, table football, billiards, and drinks at the bar and restaurant are available at an additional cost.

What does the cancellation cover?

We offer a cancellation guarantee that protects you in case of an accident, hospitalization, serious illness, or death, whether it is for you or a loved one. You can purchase this coverage at the time of booking.

Is the campsite accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Yes, the campsite is accessible to people with reduced mobility, with specially adapted sanitary facilities.

When will I receive the confirmation of my reservation?

You will automatically receive the confirmation of your reservation by email after the payment of your deposit. If you do not see it, please check your spam folder. If necessary, you can ask us to resend it to you by email at contact@campingsaintgabriel.com or by phone at +33 (0)4 90 91 19 83.

I would like to extend or shorten my stay.

You can extend your stay, subject to availability. However, if you have booked accommodation or a pitch, no refund will be granted in case of early departure. For more details on extension and discount options, please contact the reception.

What should I do if I forgot a personal item when leaving?

To obtain an invoice for your stay, you can request one directly at the reception upon departure.

Do you offer activities at the campsite?

Yes, we offer activities at the campsite in June, July, and August. Every Tuesday, a local farmers’ market will showcase its products, followed by a karaoke night. On Thursdays, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat mussels and fries, accompanied by a live concert. Don’t forget to book for the karaoke and moules-frites nights.

Do you have a children’s club?

We don’t have a children’s club at the campsite, but we offer a range of activities and spaces suitable for families and children to have fun together. Take a look at our entertainment program to discover what we have to offer!

Are there any shops on the campsite?

Yes, we have a well-stocked grocery store where you can buy essential food and hygiene products. During the day, our bar welcomes you for refreshing drinks, and our restaurant offers delicious dishes for your dinners. So that you can make the most of your stay.

Is there a washing machine at the campsite?

Yes, a washing machine is available for €5 per wash, upon request at the reception.

Are the animations included?

Yes, entertainment such as karaoke, local farmers’ markets, and live concerts are included in the price of your site or accommodation. This allows you to enjoy a friendly and festive experience without any additional costs. Enjoy these moments while relaxing and having fun with the other campers.

What facilities are available at the campsite?

The campsite offers a wide range of facilities, including a swimming pool with a paddling pool, a children’s playground, an inflatable castle, a foosball table, a pool table, a ping-pong table, a petanque court, a shared barbecue, as well as a bar and a restaurant. These facilities allow you to fully enjoy your stay and have fun with family or friends.

What services are offered on-site?

We offer a range of on-site services to make your stay enjoyable. You’ll find a tourist information point to help you explore the surroundings, a TV area for relaxation, and a small library for book lovers. A grocery store is also available, where you can order fresh bread and pastries. For your convenience, we offer fridge rentals as well as a washing machine. Everything is designed to make your stay easier!

Can I book in advance for the karaoke night on Tuesday and the all-you-can-eat mussels and fries night on Thursday before arriving at the campsite?

Yes, you can order bread and pastries, which will be available at the reception the next morning starting at 8:30 AM. To place your order, simply write your request at the reception. You can do this during opening hours, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, or directly at the restaurant in the evening. We work with a local baker who delivers fresh and delicious bread and pastries every morning.

Can I make a reservation before arriving at the campsite for the karaoke night on Tuesday and the all-you-can-eat mussels and fries night on Thursday?

You are welcome to book our karaoke night and our famous all-you-can-eat mussels and fries night, followed by a live concert — experiences not to be missed! What type of catering do you offer?

We offer local and friendly cuisine. You can savor our specialty, the Gardiane de taureau, as well as dishes like the honey-roasted Camembert, the Alpilles hamburger, the fish of the day, and delicious salads for added freshness. We also offer fresh pasta and pizzas. Don’t miss our all-you-can-eat mussels and fries during the live concert night!

When is our restaurant open?

Our restaurant is open every evening from mid-May to mid-September.

Should you book a table at the restaurant?

Reservation is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended to help our chef plan better. To make a reservation, you can do so directly at the reception during opening hours, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, or by calling us at 04.90.91.19.83.

Can visitors have dinner at the restaurant?

Yes, your friends from outside can absolutely come to dinner at the restaurant with you. They are also welcome for the karaoke night on Tuesday and the all-you-can-eat mussels and fries night with a live concert on Thursday.

Do you need to make a reservation for breakfast?

It is not necessary to make a reservation for breakfast. You can have it on-site by ordering your breads and pastries the day before. Then, all you have to do is settle in at the restaurant to order your coffee, tea, orange juice, and more.
