Have you booked a stay at our campsite and have some questions about it? Would you like to make a reservation but are unsure because of unanswered questions? Then this FAQ is for you. We have tried to answer as many questions as possible.
What is the minimum number of nights for accommodation?
For rentals, the minimum stay is two nights.
Is it possible to check in to my mobile home before 4:00 pm?
Yes, this is possible if you choose the early check-in option from 2:00 PM when making your reservation.
This option costs €10.
Are the sheets and towels provided?
Bed linen and towels are not provided, but you have the option to rent bed linen and bath towels when making your reservation online or directly on site.
Is the mobile home equipped for cooking?
Yes, the mobile home is fully equipped with everything you need to cook. You will find pots, pans, cutlery, plates, and glasses, as well as small appliances such as a Senseo coffee maker and a microwave, so you can easily prepare your meals.
Is the mobile home equipped with a television?
Yes, the mobile home is equipped with a television, allowing you to relax and watch your favorite shows after a day of activities. Whether you wish to follow the news, watch movies, or spend an evening with family, you will have all the necessary comfort for a pleasant stay.
What type of coffee maker is available?
The mobile home is equipped with a Senseo coffee maker. The capsules are available for purchase at the grocery store if needed.
Is the mobile home equipped with air conditioning and heating?
Yes, the mobile home is equipped with reversible air conditioning, which allows you to enjoy optimal comfort, whether in summer to cool the interior or in spring or autumn to heat it.
Is it possible to rent a baby cot?
Yes, it is possible by choosing the travel cot rental option when making your reservation.
Can I park a second vehicle near my mobile home?
You can park only one vehicle near your mobile home. If you need to park a second vehicle, it is possible to do so in the parking lot located at the entrance of the campsite, for an additional fee.
Are we allowed to smoke in the accommodations?
It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the accommodations to ensure the comfort and cleanliness of the space. However, an ashtray is available on the terrace so you can enjoy your cigarette outside safely. Thank you for respecting this rule in order to maintain a pleasant environment for all our guests.
Do you have accessible accommodations?
Currently, we do not yet have accommodations accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM). We are working on improving our facilities to better accommodate all our visitors in the future.
Do I have to clean when leaving my accommodation?
You have the option to subscribe to our cleaning service when booking, but this does not include the kitchen area. You will need to wash and put away the dishes, empty the trash, and leave the refrigerator clean and empty. If you choose to clean the place yourself, the accommodation must be returned in perfect condition. Otherwise, a cleaning fee of €70 will be charged.
What is the size of the beds?
The single beds in our mobile homes measure 90 x 190 cm. The double beds in the one-bedroom mobile home and in the two-bedroom mobile homes of the “Confort”, “Spacieux” and “Cosy” types measure 140 x 190 cm. The double bed in the two-bedroom “Grand Standing” mobile home and in the three-bedroom mobile homes measures 160 x 200 cm.
Am I allowed to invite family or friends to the mobile home? If so, is there a fee?
You can invite friends or family to your mobile home. If they wish to use the campsite facilities (such as the pool and games), they must check in at the reception and pay an additional fee. On the other hand, if they come just to have dinner with you, their visit is free.
Can I put a tent next to the mobile home?
It is not allowed to set up a tent next to a mobile home. If you wish to camp with a tent, we recommend booking a dedicated pitch.
Do I need to pay a deposit upon arrival?
A deposit of €200 is required upon your arrival at the campsite for any accommodation rental.
When will I get my deposit back?
The deposit will be returned to you on the day of your departure.
What are the different types of accommodations?
We offer several types of accommodations: one-bedroom mobile homes for 2 people, two-bedroom mobile homes for 4 to 6 people, and three-bedroom mobile homes for 6 people. For safety reasons, it is not possible to exceed these capacities. If you are more numerous, it will be necessary to book a second accommodation.
What is included with my accommodation?
Your accommodation reservation includes all charges (water, gas, electricity), a vehicle, as well as access to the pool (during opening hours), playgrounds, and camping facilities. You can also choose additional options when making your reservation.
What amenities are included in my accommodation?
Each type of accommodation has a detailed inventory that you can view by clicking on “Check availability” at the top right, then selecting an accommodation and clicking on “See all”.
What are the opening hours of the pool?
The swimming pool is open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., from April 30th to September 30th.
Is the pool heated?
The pool is heated by solar panels, ensuring pleasant temperatures throughout the opening season.
What are the dimensions of the pool?
The pool measures 16 metres long and 7 metres wide. It also has a paddling pool specially designed for young children. Whether you want to relax, swim laps or play with your children, this pool will meet all your expectations.
Is the pool supervised?
The pool is not supervised, and children remain under the responsibility of their parents. We kindly ask parents to stay vigilant and ensure that safety rules are respected so everyone can enjoy pleasant and relaxing moments by the pool.
Are there any activities at the pool?
Evening events are organized every Friday night in July and August. Come enjoy these festive and refreshing evenings under the stars.
What type of electrical outlet is there at the locations?
Each pitch at Camping Saint-Gabriel in Tarascon is equipped with two power sockets: a French socket and a European socket. This allows you to easily plug in your devices whether you come from France or elsewhere in Europe. Don’t forget to bring adapters if your devices are not compatible with these sockets.
Is it possible to rent a refrigerator?
Yes, it is entirely possible to rent a refrigerator with a freezer during your stay at Camping Saint-Gabriel. You can book it directly when making your reservation on our website, by phone, or on-site, depending on availability. This will allow you to keep your food and drinks cool throughout your vacation.
Is water and electricity included in the price of the pitch?
Yes, water and electricity are included in the price of the pitch. You will therefore not have any additional charges for these amenities, allowing you to fully enjoy your stay without worry.

Are there specific pitches for motorhomes?
All our pitches at Camping Saint-Gabriel measure between 80 and 100 m², allowing motorhomes, caravans, and tents to be comfortably accommodated. You will have plenty of space to park your vehicle and enjoy your stay in complete freedom.
What is the maximum size accepted for caravans and motorhomes?
The maximum accepted length for caravans and motorhomes at Camping Saint-Gabriel is 11 metres overall. This allows you to park your vehicle safely and enjoy your stay with complete peace of mind.
What is the minimum stay?
At Camping Saint-Gabriel, you can stay on a pitch for a minimum of one night during the opening period. This allows you to enjoy either a short stopover or a longer stay according to your plans.
Which discount cards do you accept in low and mid-season?
We accept ACSI cards for bookings in low and mid-season. You can book a pitch directly on our website at a reduced rate using this card.
How many people can stay on a pitch?
The maximum capacity of a pitch for tents, motorhomes, or caravans is 6 people, including children and babies. If this capacity is exceeded, a second pitch must be booked. The basic rate includes 2 people, and an additional fee applies for each extra person.
Where is the nearest train station?
The nearest train station is Tarascon Station, located about 3 kilometres from the campsite. From there, you can easily reach cities such as Avignon, Arles, and Nîmes by train.
What is the distance between the campsite and the bike paths?
The nearest cycling path is about 2 kilometres from the campsite. It leads to attractive destinations such as Arles, Nîmes, and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, allowing you to explore the beautiful landscapes of the region while discovering its rich cultural heritage.
What is there to see in the area?
In the Tarascon region, you can discover iconic sites such as the Arles Amphitheatre and the Palais des Papes in Avignon. Nîmes, with its Roman monuments like the Maison Carrée, and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, famous for its ancient ruins, are also well worth a visit. Les Baux-de-Provence offers spectacular landscapes and the famous light shows at the Carrières de Lumières. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments by credit card, cash, bank transfer, holiday vouchers (ANCV), and bank checks.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes, it is possible to pay in several installments.
When do I need to pay the balance of my reservation?
The balance of your reservation must be paid 20 days before your arrival at the campsite. If you book less than 20 days before arrival, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.
How can I modify or cancel a reservation?

Do you accept VACAF (CAF holiday vouchers)?
No, VACAF holiday assistance is not accepted at Camping Saint Gabriel.
Can I arrive outside reception opening hours?
The reception is open from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. If you cannot arrive during these hours, please inform us in advance so that we can organize your arrival and welcome you in the best conditions.
Are dogs or cats allowed in the rental accommodation?
Dogs and cats are allowed in the accommodation for an additional daily fee. However, dangerous or aggressive animals, as well as category 1 and category 2 dogs, are not permitted. Pets must be vaccinated, kept on a leash within the campsite, and owners must clean up after them.
How can I check availability and calculate the price of my stay?
To check availability and calculate the price of your stay, simply simulate a reservation on our website. Click on “Check availability” at the top right after selecting your dates. You will then be able to view the available accommodations, their prices and the pitches with or without the ACSI card. The displayed price includes booking fees but does not include optional services or the optional cancellation guarantee.
Is there a laundromat at the campsite?
Yes, Camping Saint Gabriel provides a washing machine for guests.
Are barbecues allowed at the campsite?
Yes, a communal charcoal barbecue is available at the campsite. You can also use individual electric or gas barbecues. However, individual charcoal barbecues are not allowed.
Is there wifi at the campsite?
Yes, the campsite offers free Wi-Fi access throughout the site.
Until what time can I enter the campsite by car?
Car access to the campsite is allowed until 11 PM. After this hour, the gate is closed to ensure everyone’s peace and safety.
Are visitors welcome?
Visitors are welcome at the campsite provided they know a resident. They must register at the reception and pay an entrance fee to access the campsite facilities such as the swimming pool, the bar and the restaurant, as well as the children’s playground, table football, ping-pong and billiards.
What are the check-in and check-out times at the campsite?
For camping pitches, check-in is possible from 2 PM and check-out must be completed by 12 PM. For rental accommodations, check-in is possible from 4 PM and check-out must be completed by 10 AM.
Can I choose my pitch or my mobile home?
Yes, you can choose your own pitch or mobile home, as long as you request it in advance and it is available.
What is included in my rate?
When you book a pitch or accommodation, your price includes access to all the free facilities and services of the campsite, such as the pool with paddling pool, Wi-Fi, children’s playground, inflatable castle, ping-pong, petanque area, and communal barbecue. However, table football, billiards, and drinks at the bar and restaurant are available at an additional cost.
What does the cancellation guarantee cover?
We offer a cancellation guarantee that protects you in case of an accident, hospitalization, serious illness or death, whether it concerns you or a close relative. This coverage can be purchased at the time of booking.
Is the campsite accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Yes, the campsite is accessible to people with reduced mobility and has sanitary facilities specially adapted for them.
When will I receive the confirmation of my reservation?
You will automatically receive the confirmation of your reservation by email after the payment of your deposit. If you do not see it, please check your spam folder. If necessary, you can ask us to resend it by email at contact@campingsaintgabriel.com or by phone at +33 4 90 91 19 83.
I would like to extend or shorten my stay.
You can extend your stay subject to availability. However, if you have booked accommodation or a camping pitch, no refund will be granted in case of early departure. For more information about extension or reduction options, please contact the reception.

How can I get an invoice for my stay?
To obtain an invoice for your stay, you can request it directly at the reception when you check out.
Do you offer activities at the campsite Saint Gabriel ?
Yes, we offer entertainment at the campsite in June, July and August. Every Tuesday, a local farmers’ market presents regional products, followed by a karaoke evening. On Thursdays, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat mussels and fries accompanied by a live concert. Please remember to book in advance for the karaoke and mussels and fries evenings.
Do you have a children’s club?
We do not have a children’s club at the campsite, but we offer a range of activities and facilities designed for families and children to enjoy together.
Are there any shops on the campsite?
Yes, we have a well-stocked grocery shop where you can buy essential food and hygiene products. During the day, our bar welcomes you for refreshing drinks, and our restaurant offers tasty dishes for dinner.
Is there a washing machine at the campsite?
Yes, a washing machine is available for €5 per wash, upon request at the reception.
Are the activities included?
Yes, entertainment such as karaoke, local farmers’ markets and live concerts is included in the price of your pitch or accommodation. This allows you to enjoy a friendly and festive atmosphere without any additional cost.
What facilities are available at the campsite?
The campsite offers a wide range of facilities including a swimming pool with a paddling pool, a children’s playground, an inflatable castle, table football, a pool table, a ping-pong table, a pétanque court, a shared barbecue area, as well as a bar and a restaurant, allowing you to fully enjoy your stay with family or friends.
What services are available on-site?
For your comfort, the campsite offers several on-site services including a tourist information point to help you explore the region, a TV lounge, a small library, and a grocery corner where you can order fresh bread and pastries. A washing machine is also available on the campsite.
Can I order bread and pastries?
Yes, you can order fresh bread and pastries which will be available at the reception the following morning from 8:30 AM. To place your order, simply write your request at the reception during opening hours from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, or directly at the restaurant in the evening. We work with a local bakery that delivers fresh and delicious bread and pastries every morning.
Can I reserve before arriving for the Tuesday karaoke night and the all-you-can-eat mussels and fries night on Thursday?

What type of food does the restaurant offer?
We offer friendly local cuisine inspired by the region. You can taste our specialty, the traditional Gardiane de taureau, as well as dishes such as honey-roasted Camembert, the Alpilles burger, the fish of the day and fresh salads. We also serve fresh pasta and pizzas. Don’t miss our famous all-you-can-eat mussels and fries during the live concert evening.
When is the restaurant open?
Our campsite restaurant is open every evening from mid-May to mid-September.
Do I need to book a table at the restaurant?
Booking is not mandatory but is highly recommended to help our chef organise the service. You can reserve directly at the reception during opening hours from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, or by calling us at +33 (0)4 90 91 19 83.
Can visitors have dinner at the restaurant?
Yes, your friends from outside the campsite are welcome to join you for dinner at the restaurant. They are also welcome to attend the Tuesday karaoke night and the all-you-can-eat mussels and fries evening with live music on Thursdays.
Do you need to book breakfast in advance?
It is not necessary to book breakfast. You can enjoy breakfast on-site by ordering your bread and pastries the day before. Then simply sit at the restaurant and order coffee, tea, orange juice, and other drinks.
